Product Description


These machines are used to test the fatigue strength of the materials and to draw S-N diagram by laboratories, research institutes, material manufacturers and various other industries. These machines are of rotating beam type in which load is  applied in transposed bending fashion. The standard 8 mm dia specimen is gripped in special holders a the end of each machines. The loading occurs in such away that it experiences an uniform bending moment. By a motor, the specimen is rotated at 4200 rpm. During each revolution a complete cycle the reversed stresses is produced in all the fibres of  specimen. The bending movement is applied with a lever system and it can be easily changed by tossing a weight over the lever. The total number of revolutions at which the specimen fails is recorded by a Digital counter. At specimen failure an interlocking system puts off the motor. The Machine meets the requirements of IS:5075-1969.
