The test head is a mini hydraulic system which contains a control valve for controlling force. When force loading to 3,000Kgf,the control valve opens,pressure releasing. According to ASTM standard, force loading should be repeated 3 to 4times, keeping the pin of the pressure gauge reaching the point of 3,000Kgf 3 to 4 times. ln this way, it equals the test regulation of test force 3,000 Kgf, iDmmtest ball, force maintaining time; 0 to 5 seconds

Brinell Hardness Tester, Model : AKB-3000 is designed for Brinell hardness measurement on steels and other ferrous materials and also on non ferrous materials like

Brass, Bronze, Aluminium, etc. The material can be cast, forged or rolled and the shape can be flat, round or irregular.

The actual load application system is of dead weight type combined with mechanical lever system. The supporting hydraulic system is for initial lifting of load before each

test and a damping the load application system for smooth application of load.

A separate hydraulic power pack, positioned in the bottom part of the machine increases the machine stability.

Our unique design of a floating fulcrum lever system ensures high accuracy and dependability.

The machine accuracies confirm to IS: 1500/ ISO:6506.

OPTICAL BRINELL HARDNESS TESTER :OPAB-3000

 

This is a modified version which is provided with an inbuilt optical system of 14x magnification.

An automatic indenter index system is provided which tilts the indenter after the impression and the magnified image is visible on the screen for measurement with a 0.01 mm Least count.

Thus this machine gives fast and accurate results with less operator fatigue.

This model is mainly useful for production testing in Auto shops, Foundries, Forge shops & Heat treatment units etc.

FEATURES

• Specially designed fabricated main lever.
• Operation of the machine is by push buttons. 
• Imported linear bearings are used for plunger movement, which gives better accuracy & repeatability. 
• Hydraulic cylinder & piston assembly for lifting the main lever up down is fitted directly below the main lever. Lifter shaft in-between piston & main lever is eliminated. This will increase reliability of the machine. 
• Lever lifting piston is reduced to 15 bar at 3.2. lpm flow rate. Due to this modification oil heating will be reduced. 
• Pressure gauge has been provided in the hydraulic circuit.
• Solenoid operated valves are provided in the machine.
• Separate valves are provided for adjusting up/ down speeds of lever. 
• Cycle is fully automotive with adjustable load holding time.
• Power Pack is completely within the body. Due to this the motor & pump noise is eliminated.
• Height of the oil tank and drain port is increased and therefore oil draining is easy.
• Proximity switches are used in place of limit switches for better accuracy and reliability.
• Ball and ball seat suspension is provided to fulcrum 'V' Support of main lever. Ball Bearing guides are provided to provided to plunger for avoiding its rotation.
• Provision of fine lever ration adjustment. 
• Due to above salient features, the system friction is reduced to minium and so improved repeatability. Much better accuracy, linearity & sensitivity of the system, thus the machine is more dependable.
